October 2005 Firing

Beautiful fall colors provided a spectacular backdrop to the most recent kiln firing. The weather was perfect which made for a very relaxed, quick loading and firing of the kiln. We began the firing around 6:30 on Friday afternoon and finished with the last stoking at around 4:30 on Sunday afternoon. The final temperature was 2370!
